On your team.

Why should Cutshop be on your team?

Ability to scale and cut-to-size a wide range of materials.

At Cutshop we’re a pretty straightforward bunch.  You think it, we make it.

Our trade customers think we’re a great addition to their team because beneath our no-fuss exterior, there’s some pretty high tech, sophisticated equipment, 2000m2 of factory floor area and four locations in Auckland, Hamilton, and Napier that work as one integrated factory when we need to deliver big jobs on short timelines.

Each of our factories have uniform processes, machinery and software to help us turn jobs around quickly and efficiently, delivering precision cutting and edging that is 100% accurate and repeatable.

We use some of the largest state-of-the-art router machinery in New Zealand – 3660mm x 2100mm flatbed Thermwood CNCs - and Holzher Lumina 1586 edgebanders alongside a range of other supporting equipment.

And there isn’t much we can’t cut, including MDF, timber, veneer, Perspex, acrylic, polystyrene and aluminium.

Increase your own capacity.

Whether you’re a kitchen manufacturer, designer, cabinet maker or a shopfitter, we can be your preferred supplier of ready-to-assemble cabinetry.

Increasing your capacity by using our machinery, people and technology can bring your overheads down and improve profitability.  One of our clients now manufactures an extra kitchen each week while cutting their overheads by $3k/month by working with us.

Great industry feedback.

We talked to some other trade customers to find out why they chose Cutshop as their preferred supplier for cutting, edging and drilling:

“I have plenty of room in my factory, but over the last few years I’ve expanded and can’t keep up with managing all the materials. The fact that I can order the board from Cutshop to be delivered ready for installation is perfect for me.”  Paul Shepherd, Design Edge Kitchens

“Cutshop’s edge banding and CNC machines are really high-end. The edge bander, for example, has three different glue options. Using Cutshop means my business benefits from this machinery without the capital tie-up.” Craig Fergus, Extreme Joinery Concepts

“We just can’t cut our benchtops for anywhere near the low price Cutshop charges — we don’t have a CNC machine, so the process is labour-intensive and takes too much time.  So we only cut the difficult jobs that require on-site modifications.  By using Cutshop to cut and drill our standard benchtops, Timbertops can take on more work and, actually, reduce overheads, allowing us to be far more price competitive than we’d otherwise be."  Martin Hunter, Timbertops

"As our business has grown, we have found it more efficient to get rid of our own workshop and outsource to Cutshop, saving time and money on machinery.  Cutshop Mt Wellington is one of our key suppliers.  It’s easy - I use google sketch to work up the designs then send them off and they get the job turned around in four to five working days.  This gives my team more time to spend actually carrying out the building work and installations on-site.”  Alan Owen, Marcel Group

If you’re interested in boosting your capacity without the financial stress of additional capital investment in extra factory space and expensive machinery, why not talk to us?  We’re ready and waiting to support your business.
