Time for children.

During the construction of the Pentagon Early Learning Centre in Tamahere, the owners and staff wanted to capture and communicate their core values and mission statement in a way that kept the values alive in the centre.

Precision Built owner and co-owner of Pentagon ELC, Jonathan Quigley and his wife came up with the idea of creating a very special clock in for the reception area.  Jonathan worked out the concept and took the idea to Cutshop Waikato.

My experience with Cutshop was great.  I took a design in to the Hamilton branch and discussed substrate options and their CNC machine’s capabilities. The team at Cutshop then accurately created the piece I needed to start my clock.  I could not have been happier with the result. It was a pretty ‘left field’ project and Cutshop did an amazing job.

The clock was made up of a central plywood component with metal detail and engraving, machined using the CNC machine.  Jonathan then took this component and created the clock which now hangs proudly in The Pentagon’s reception as a permanent reminder to parents and caregivers of the Centre’s special character.
