We Cut and Edge

For shelves up to 900mm wide, standard 16mm board is suitable for most loads. For wider spans, or if you're storing heavy books, records, or AV equipment, we recommend upgrading to 18mm or thicker. We can advise on the right spec for your planned load and span.

Yes. We provide guides, templates, and expert advice to help you plan your TV wall layout, including clearances for ventilation, cable management cut-outs, and the right depths for different AV components. We recommend confirming your screen size, mounting position, and component list before ordering so the finished result is exactly what you envisioned.

MDF is the preferred substrate for a painted finish because it has a smooth, uniform surface that takes paint without grain showing through. It also machines cleanly, giving sharp edges and crisp profiles. We cut and edge-band MDF to your specification, ready for your chosen paint system.

Yes. You're welcome to visit your local Cutshop® factory to see and handle material samples in person. This is especially useful when matching a finish to existing furniture or flooring in your home.
