Better Home & Living Show
Recently, the team from Cutshop® North Shore headed to the Home and Living Show in Auckland to showcase what Cutshop® is all about, with the goal of engaging with DIY enthusiasts and homeowners.
Raising art
Susan Christie explores her passion for challenging the concept of objects versus paintings. To display her ceramics and bring them to eye level where we would normally just see a painting hanging on the wall, Susan came up with her own specially designed floating shelves…
New build, fresh looks
Jason collaborated with Cutshop® to materialise the vision he had for the interiors in his new-build home. He wanted an open space with plenty of room to move around, large windows with natural light flooding in, and high quality cabinetry to finish the look and feel.
Cutting edge conversion
A room conversion, from bedroom to study using cut to size melamine MDF, by Sam at DBP Renovation Specialists with a little help from Cutshop® North Shore.
Bookshelf to match
Sean was in the midst of a hallway revamp and wanted a bookshelf to store his wife’s many cookbooks. It needed to be a sister piece to the unit on the other side of the hallway, to help complete the entryway.
Concept of the future
When one of their recent new-build houses needed furnishing, an architect created the design for a walk-in wardrobe for one of the bedrooms. The brief for the wardrobe was rather complex, needing to host shelves, hanging rails, drawers, and cupboards, in quite a confined room with varying corner angles.
The ‘key’ to a successful business
Jason of King Locksmiths was able to launch his locksmith business by collaborating with Cutshop to bring his van fit-out visions to life.
Cultural clock collaboration
Cutshop® variety of projects continues to expand and diversify year upon year. Some of our youngest collaborators are a group of senior college students from Sacred Heart College, who were part of an enterprise scheme run by The Lion Foundation that allowed them to experience the opening, running and closing of a business.
Bringing new skills to the table
Take a look for yourself at this sturdy yet eye-catching table design, ready to host your family, friends or colleagues at any time of day.
World-class Commercial Fitout
One of the neatest parts of the fit-out at ‘The Face Place’ was the reception area. The unique and stylish vibe of the business would come through as curved desks and bench surfaces which add a real sense of dynamism that regular work spaces lack.
Saving Native Species
We love helping Kiwis ignite their ingenuity and bring projects to life that will serve the nation. We worked with George Campbell from NZ Auto Traps on a distinctively kiwi-esque project to undertake.
Quest for perfect sound
David Little is a man on a mission to own the best possible sound system within his budget, a sound system capable of reproducing an extremely diverse collection of music while staying true to the original recorded sound.
Transform storage space.
Introducing Mike Petry. Mike spends his days getting hands-on programming multiple projects at Cutshop® Waikato. He enjoys the creativity and craft involved in his work and finds reward in ensuring customers’ visions are brought to life.
Think it. Make it.
Cutshop® provides you the ability to bring your ideas and designs to life, from simple cabinets through to designer furniture. It may be scribbled on paper, written up in detail or just in your head.
Sleek, Slick, Scandi
Case Study: When it came to establishing the ‘look’ of the interior, Malin and Julian were going for a plain, simple, chic and modern design but at the same time, something that wasn’t too common in every other Auckland home.
Camper Fit Out
Our newest team member, Manuel from Germany, has been displaying his carpentry skills in and outside the factory as he converts a Nissan Serena.
Methven Brand Box
When the New Zealand marketing manager for Methven, Marek Koliandr, wanted a beautiful way to display a newly-launched product in their designer shower range, he thought inside the box.
On-trend kitchens.
We look at kitchen colour, materials and lighting. After a number of years when light, white and bright has been the style of choice for kitchens, it looks like darker, moodier colours are on their way back into the renovation palette…
