Bold and beautiful DIY kitchen

For someone who's been using a 60’s inspired kitchen layout for the last 5 years, Ritchie Williams and his partner Justine were happy to achieve an affordable nice-looking kitchen with the perfect layout that fitted their space.

We are super happy with how it turned out!
— Ritchie Williams

It is not a typical white standard kitchen, instead they explored bolder colours with exposed plywood edges that would create a contrast against the grey of the polished concrete floor.

Ritchie said Cutshop® were able to show them visualisations of the finished look to make sure they were happy with the plywood finishes & final selection of colours, and the outcome really exceeded their expectations

Having a background in design meant that Ritchie and his partner had a good idea of what they wanted for their kitchen and after a bit of discussion about the configuration of cabinets and what fixtures to get, they achieved the balance of what they wanted and what was possible.

Cutshop® was good to work with.
— Ritchie Williams

For Ritchie, what he liked about working with Cutshop® the most, was the quality of kitchen they got for the price they paid.

The idea of having a kitset of pre-cut plywood pieces is a great option. It may test your blood pressure and patience at times but with reasonable handyman skills, it definitely gives a great sense of achievement and you feel that you had a serious part in the build process.
— Ritchie Williams

He recommends Cutshop® to other homeowners who are considering a new kitchen because they are good to work with and delivered the job on the targeted completion date.

It probably took us 3-4 weekends to assemble and install the cabinets.
— Ritchie Williams

Our team at Cutshop® Waikato is thrilled to help Ritchie and Justine get their dream kitchen refresh without breaking the bank.
